This
issue we are looking at a
recently updated web site for Divine Audio,
12 months after the original site was developed. Divine Audio
are based in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
Client's brief to the web site designer
The initial objective was to build a professional
looking web site site that would reflect well on the new business,
while working to a tight budget to control business start up costs.
12 months on, the business was able to look at a logical next step
and fresh challenge.
Project approach
Tim at Divine Audio had thought a lot about his
first site and many of these ideas were incorporated. The site
looked good but actually only contained 6 pages - ie there were
broad references to products rather than specific details. 12 months
on, this was
all changed, and Abbey Park's e-commerce package was used to develop
a brand new site. While keeping to some similarities in style and
colour, the updated site included a database holding details of
over 100 products in a number of categories, so visitors
could
browse
by product
type
or brand. The site was set up so Tim could easily add and change
product details, update news, testimonials etc.
Outcome
There has been a lot of positive feedback about
the site. Hi Fi buyers love the information the site is providing
and the fact that Tim keeps it constantly fresh and updated. Visitor
numbers and sales enquiries have increased beyond expectations.

Abbey
Park's help a year ago. It was our first step onto the internet,
and I was pleased with both the service I received and the
end result. In twelve months the original site paid for itself
several times over. This has given me the confidence to invest
in a more comprehensive web site where I can now showcase my
whole product range. Already I'm seeing an increase in enquires
and orders, and it's allowing me to expand my market. With
orders nationally and even internationally - I couldn't be
happier!" |
