This
month we look at an online shopping web
site selling designer clothes, bags and trainers for Exposure
Clothing, based in Rugby, Warickshire.
Client's brief to the web
site designer:
To create a fresh and youthful shopping web
site where new and existing customers can browse online the clothes
available and make purchases.
Project approach
Meetings
were held between client and designer to look at the likely needs
of visitors to the site, how best to organise and display categories
of product.
An e-commerce shopping package developed by web designer Abbey
Park was used as the staring point for the project, allowing a
quick implementation of proven features, while enabling customisation
to the client's
requirements. So people can buy online, a link to Paypal was developed.
Outcome
Sales generated by the web site continue to increase,
across both traditional product ranges as well as some new popular
lines.
